![]() The King starts with an aura of Royalty, which reduces his damage taken by 90%. You can make it faster with a warrior in group, though! The Chess Event in Karazhan is unfortunately, a slow grind. A single spell reflect accounted for 18% of the damage taken by the Nullifier.Ĭhess Event: Reflect Royal Slash for Huge Damage You can see the result of this on this log of our +25 5-tank Upper Karazhan. This cast also leaves a DoT on the target.īoth the direct damage and the DoT can be reflected on the Abstract Nullifier with Spell Reflection. This unique trash mob hits the highest threat target every 16-18 seconds with Force Blade, a heavy magic tankbuster with a short cast time. On the way to Curator, your way is blocked by an Abstract Nullifier. Trash: Reflect Force Blade on Abstract Nullifier The higher the key level, the more value these have! All of them can be performed by DPS and Protection Warriors, although the first and last ones have a relatively small amount of risk attached if the player is not a tank.Īll of these reflected attacks damage enemies at their full value. Today, we'll go through three extremely high-value uses of Spell Reflection in Upper Karazhan. ![]() Each expansion, some spells end up being remembered as egregiously good to reflect - Mordretha's Reaping Scythe in Theater of Pain was so good to reflect that DPS warriors would taunt to reflect it in high keys for three seasons! In others, it can reflect some damage, remove dangerous mechanics, or even in some cases, completely change the outcome of a fight. Spell Reflection is a weird ability in some dungeons, it is entirely worthless. I will say that Omnath, Locus of Rage does belong in the 99 of Omnath, Locus of the Roil, because Risen Reef is one hell of an elemental. We're covering 3 uses of Spell Reflection in Upper Karazhan that will reflect the damage at full value, making them deal massive damage to your enemy, allowing you to shave time off your Mythic+ run! Just try and see if the blue additions fit your playstyle, and save a decklists for the Gruul build, in case it doesn't. Gruul and Temur Omnath just will not result in the same decks, the same way that the average OG Omnath, Locus of Mana deck won't look much like the Gruul Omnath deck. Or you could be Oneshotting people with Sylvan Awakening, turning 25 lands into elementals, playing your commander and sending the ETB trigger to someone's face. Mystic Sanctuary loops, tricksy stuff like Avenger of Zendikar with Mystic Reflection, loops with Walking Atlas and Retreat to Coralhelm, maybe Roil Elemental, blue really adds a lot to landfall decks that Gruul just can't provide. Omnath, Locus of the Roil is a value engine that adds blue to your color identity. Omnath, Locus of Rage is the overt, "look at me being dangerous" commander. ![]() I’d love if you checked out my Chun-li deck here: Any time you target Chun-li you can make a copy of her, the copies can still cast the kicked cards. My last suggestion is Vesuvan Duplimancy. You can just copy tons of opponents creatures. I also went with a heavy token approach, we selected very similar cards! You should definitely run Mystic Reflection it is so good with cards like Secure the Wastes and Call the Coppercoats. You can even exile Release to the Wind with Chun-li and do it again if you ever want to put more kick counters on things. The first card I recommend is Release to the Wind, you can cast this right at the end step before your turn to cast Chin-li for free so then you can focus on only spending mana to kick chun-li instead of paying 3 for her initial cost. I also have a Chun-Li deck and I want to make 3 recommendations.
